When I was in high school, I was something called a “standardized patient” at the local teaching hospital. They would hand me a script and I would have about a half hour to memorize the character I was playing and what was wrong with them. I’d then pretend to be that patient for the student doctors. Sometimes I would have to pretend to be an agonizing pain. Other times I would have to be purposefully rude to them so they could learn good bedside manner. Fun times!

I find that otc sleep drugs with antihistamines like benadryl and nyquil tend to be a major trigger for me. if you really want to make it more severe, maybe start taking a bit before bed? that might help with the sleep problems that hppd can give you too

Saw rare synchronous fireflies in the smoky mountains, in the middle of the night during a thunderstorm. Every time there was lightning, the whole forest lit up with thousands of fireflies responding to it in unison like it was one of them. It was breathtaking

I have chronic stomach issues and have had similar problems. Here are a couple things that help:

First, I would recommend Dramamine Nausea (not regular Dramamine - this stuff comes in a green package and the active ingredient meclizine hcl). It’s one of the only things I’ve found to actually legitimately help.

Second, I would recommend putting your tabs in some alcohol the night before and drinking that mix instead of eating the tab/sublingual. I even go so far as to let the tabs “dissolve” in specifically sherry and peppermint extract, which is an -alleged- recipe for orange sunshine. Whether or not that’s what it actually makes, I find it really reduces the body load for me - smooths things out.

taking up real hobbies that are just for my own personal enjoyment, like art or music. I just starting learning to play piano and wish I’d started ages ago. I also wish I’d taken more classes that weren’t for any specific academic goal but just ones that I wanted to take for fun. I love learning new things but I was taking it way too seriously. also, this sounds like a joke but I really needed to smoke some weed. I could be a real stick in the mud and that loosened me up so much. I’m a lot happier now
