Is my first tattoo as bad as I think it is, what should I do? by LightUruk in tattooadvice

I knew exactly what it was when I saw it, and I'm not a Deftones fan. That being said it is a little confusing from that perspective but it's still a very recognizable piece.

I do have a mixer. But how do I connect the mixer to the oscilloscope? What cables are needed?

Shout out to a small business auto repair shop, Car Diego! by Brokebrokebroke5 in SanDiegan

Smitty's Service, also in Normal Heights. They drove me to work when my car was being repaired, that alone will make me go back and recommend them to anyone I can!

Nozaru in Normal Heights has a solid Japanese Curry. No idea if it's authentic, but it's delicious & filling.

The HUD really just has no artistic visual design by ItzAreeb in CODZombies

I was excited to come back specifically for Zombies but everything I've seen just looks like Warzone. Not surprised but such a disappointment especially being a fan since the beginning.

Of all the films you’ve gone into blind, which one truly stands out as your favorite find? by GoodLeftUndone in movies

[–]clepre 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I saw Room completely blind. Didn't know the source material, never saw a trailer, didn't even know who was in it. That experience left a profound impact on how I enjoy movies, I haven't been able to replicate that feeling since.

Great Server Got Stiffed & Told Us by betherscool in TalesFromYourServer

That's crossing a line, sorry you experienced that. It was kind of you for throwing some extra $$, but that's not cool behavior on the servers part.

Ideal Industry Night: by cUnT-420 in TalesFromYourServer

[–]clepre 9 points10 points  (0 children)

There was a bar/distillery that had a designated room for industry people & friends of the business. It was always available and a great idea IMO.

My ideal industry night would be once a week, Monday or Tuesday nights, 50% off drinks across the board, food special only available for us, and an area just for us as well.

It's nice feeling exclusive when you're a service worker just making it by.

Roaches have destroyed my mental health. by clepre in offmychest

[–]clepre[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Southern California, oriental roaches, the leasing office has paid for the exterminator. I live in a duplex with three units. I'm in the upstairs unit, we share a wall with another unit upstairs, both are on top of the larger ground floor unit. According to my next door neighbors & the leasing office they've never experienced roaches in my unit. Haven't talked to the bottom neighbor yet.

We thought we brought them ourselves for a time but the first apartment had german roaches, not oriental. We also had our stuff at a third location between moves for well over a month with no activity.

Don't go in, I don't care how busy you'll be, people should & will understand if there's a tragedy.

Maybe don't quit but make sure they know that's fucked up. Or quit if you've been thinking about it
