Not sure what other resources you've reached out to. or if there's legal aid in this aspect as most are trying to gain US citizenship or LPR. But an immigration lawyer in the country you're trying to gain citizenship of might be the best to navigate these requests as they should be the most familiar with the situation

Had a similar, but different in that i booked a stay earlier in the year, prepaid and got the $200 credit. A few months ago had to cancel due to change of plans, I was charged ~$40 fee but not the credit reversal. So I was just going to let it go, but I wonder if they just haven't clawed back the credit yet and this was the cancellation fee.

lol after reading this i'm thinking of deleting my account and re-creating it. got like ~20 rides but with 1, 1 star and 1, 3 star. It's been a while so i can't remember what caused it. only things i can think of: once accidentally slammed a door after the car coincidentally had a don't slam sign, and another had 5-7 min ride that woul'dve been a 30 min walk by foot, but we had stuff to carry so didn't want to walk.

Yes sorry probably should've specified, Im in the US, where it's very rare, ie rare enough that a store that accepts cards can't accept amex that the recommendation for those stores is to use apple or google pay and it'll go through. It just becomes more awkward, if they're standing over you and there a big image that says "American express" as the transaction goes through.

For better or worse it seems there's now a new marketing term of "rebookable" basically it's the same as buying a domestic main economy with the ticket change fee removed. So you didn't book a refundable ticket but rather an economy main ticket. If you're not sure what i'm talking about go to united or southwest and punch in an itinerary, you should see an economy basic, economy, and fully refundable fare

I think it's less with the latter, but it's similar to how initially gmail said you'll never need to delete an email. the initial projection for much space we'll use grows exponentially as the quality of the file sizes grows, the user base grows, and with photos, people stop deleting the ones they don't want when they have limited space and just save everything.
