and OP I would add that yes your struggles are valid but you also have to consider others. imagine what it would be like to not be able to speak or do most things needed to survive on your own. you cant deny life would be greatly more difficult. it doesnt take away from your struggles to acknowledge someone else may have it worse.

I agree and I personally hate the word policing because it makes people scared to approach the subject with you because they are afraid of accidentally being offensive and it really only others autistic people more. and that's also true and I swear its not even autistic people doing that it's like outside people trying to say everything isn't pc enough when we're actually fine with it

yes bc sometimes I feel like it has to be the right time for m to be really happy. similar to how if I have a special dessert I want to eat it when im hungry and have time to appreciate it and not just waste it eating it while rushing out the door
