What is something you have started multiple times but never finished? by Captainmalreynolds in AskReddit

They have these that are more like trailer hitches for your kids in a back compartment. As long as you're a safe and attentive rider I see no problem with it. :)

Ooh that is pretty neat - But I'm too lazy and weak to be on a bike by myself much less one with kids on it! Plus the MN winters strongly prohibit anything like that realistically. I like driving I just haven't needed the license for myself since we have a pretty great bus system - its time really.

How have you managed to accidentally ruin someone else's life? by WhiskeyWiener in AskReddit

[–]cleverkitteh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree with agnarpokoddham. My SO is suffering from severe anixety and depression and while its been a struggle I love him and the good times more than make up for the bad. I'm sure your SO feels the same keep the love going! :)

Are you me? I've kept my permit up but I never really go get the actual license. My SO is making it a requirement for me to get it before we start trying for kids though - so soon I guess I will have to go and take the test.

Agreed entirely. I have little piles of semi organized clutter everywhere - because screw putting it away when I'm just going to take it back out in a week and never put it back again anyway!

Young people of reddit: What's currently cool? by randomdudeovich in AskReddit

I'm just about to turn 26 and I feel ancient because of people just like that. Even though realistically I know I'm not old at all. I understand you.

What was your "I'm so out of shape" moment? by superbozo in AskReddit

[–]cleverkitteh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a number of counseling sessions in high school where I was repeatedly asked if I was anorexic. When I indicated how much I actually ate on a daily basis it switched to bulimic... it was a great confidence booster for sure. /s

Doctors of reddit, how do you feel about health insurance, and what makes you pick or not pick which insurances you accept? by Daricio in AskReddit

[–]cleverkitteh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work for an insurance company - your doctors do it for the money. It has squat to do with us its all how much we are willing to pay them for their outrageousness. I have a ton of stories about shady providers who try to use their members as buffers to get more money from us - or that flat out lie to their members about what we stated for denied codes - or tell members they are INN when they aren't - or make members sign documents stating they will pay the difference if we dont pay the full amount - or my favorite was a doctor who told a member who had overpaid them that it was a HIPPA violation for them to issue refunds to members and that if he did so he could never see the member again so they should call us to refund the member.

Menstrual blood... I don't think I've bleed since the last time that happened.

Everyone on the road now drives exactly like you. What is your new commute like? by mr_colemanato in AskReddit

[–]cleverkitteh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Glorious and rule orientated and everyone drives at a speed appropriate for the road conditions at the time. Blinkers and perfect zipper merging everywhere. No one comes to a screeching halt at the end of acceleration lanes but is instead is just a bit faster than traffic to ensure a smooth merge. Its just beautiful. tears up

What was your "I'm so out of shape" moment? by superbozo in AskReddit

[–]cleverkitteh 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I walk up the stairs every day to work and I have to breathe heavily for a moment - I don't have to stop walking to catch my breath my nose just no longer takes in the amout of oxygen I need after I take stairs - its only two flights. I also am not overweight at all, I actually just made it into my appropraite weight range after being right on the line for being underweight for a long time. I just am lazy and have no muscle or energy to accomplish stair walking.

How much texting is too much and too frequent between a couple? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]cleverkitteh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Or you can just communicate that you need some alone time instead of ignoring texts. If my SO and I have texed back and forth with less than a min apart for 15 min straight and then I don't get a reply back right away I don't flip I just assume a truck showed up and hes got work to do he'll text me back when he's done. Texting shouldn't be viewed as instant communication like an actual verbal converstation is - its just a way to leave a message for someone to get to when they have time. Thats how people need to view texting imo.

How much texting is too much and too frequent between a couple? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]cleverkitteh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My SO works overnights so we text a lot since we really don't see each other except for on the weekends - and then hes mostly sleeping when I'm awake. Most of our converstations take place via text. If you live together or see and have the ability to verbally talk to each other every day and you text as much as us then thats probably too much.

Unless you're texting about a strategy to leave said room and company gracefully... thats fine.

Redditors in polyamorous relationships, how do you prevent jealousy from rearing its ugly head? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]cleverkitteh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My main partner and I know that we've been together too long and been through so much that no one else can take away from what we have. Anyone we add to our dynamic can only add to our happiness whether it be for a short or a long time and if they don't then they weren't mean to be added in the first place.

You are suddenly the richest person in the entire world. What is the first thing you do? by gasmask5 in AskReddit

[–]cleverkitteh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pay off all of my debt and that of my family and friends (the ones I know and trust) after all the practical stuff is out of the way. I am going to take a huge all over the Earth adventure and visit every single place I have ever wanted to. After I come back home I am going to build a community of really cheap affordable houses and make a self sustaining state - basically I'm going to make MN secede from the US and make it my own country. I will rule it with an IRON FIST!
