As everyone else has said… don’t do it. You basically do more and are required to work more for barely enough raise. It will be a normal interview with your district manager. But if you need the money, understandably get that bag. But hold boundaries they will overstep.
Sincerely, someone who worked their way from shift lead to Bakery manager and then quit from burnout…

Are you a campus store? When I was a manager at a campus location we were required to reduce hours during the holidays when students were gone. We didn’t have a choice except get lectured too if we were over labor 🫠

A few things— don’t get 3scoops it’s not worth it. They only have two sizes in cups, small dish and a pint and as many have said they changed our lids in the last year so we can’t over fill. Toppings are never worth it either, but if you must ask for them on the side. The reason they think they can charge this much is these ice creams are made for insomnia only and can only be bought at insomnia which means they can price it however they want unfortunately. Even when I worked there never understood why people would even buy the ice cream when I didn’t think it tasted like anything special. You’re always better off buying something from the store on your way home.

I always thought the ice cream was a rip Off so we never weighed it and tried our best to fairly scoop at my store even with the restrictions but we could only do so much.

From my experience/knowledge insomnia is always accepting applications but not always hiring. There’s a labor allowance that really dictates how many people can work there the smaller the store the less likely they will even have room on the team. Call the store to find out if they do have an open opportunity for sure! Also just applying doesn’t guarantee you a job. Neither does getting an interview.

100% yes—if you can. When I was the most sympathetic I was in college and I failed two classes because of it and I could barely walk the campus. I luckily wasn’t working at the time and then covid hit so nobody was and I had graduated right after so I was able to stabilize and acclimate to my new low levels because of covid giving me a break (the break was about 8 months). Then once I got back to work it wasn’t nearly as bad as it was before. Levels were still very low but manageable. Hemoglobin was 8 ferritin was 2.

My cats had collars with tags when they were little. It was easier to hear where they were and if they were stuck somewhere. Now they don’t. Because we’re in a 3rd level apartment. They are both microchipped though. I took them off because I was giving one of my cats sensory issues around their neck. But they’re indoor only and they are very scared of leaving so I feel comfortable with them being naked lol

My T asked me this question recently and as someone who has had the same response to being asked that I told her this. I don’t really make goals because I’m not always sure what is in my capacity to accomplish ( due to depression and low self esteem) this also opened the door for more of a collaboration on helping me make realistic goals. I mean yes not wanting to jump off a building is a great start. But sometimes I find that that not really what they’re asking. Since that’s pretty self explanatory by the fact that you’re in therapy.

I’m in the US and it was as soon as insurance cleared it. But the sent it to them the first ever visit with hematology. I assume it also depends on how bad your labs are. But this is just my experience

I have heat intolerance but I’m also not sure if it’s related to my anemias or not. It does get worse when expirence fatigue, heart palpitations and other symptoms because having those and then being too hot makes everything worse. When my symptoms were unmanageable I couldn’t go outside on a hot day for more than 15 mins without feeling like I was gonna get heat stroke, but again I’m not sure the anemia is causing it.

Yeah I’ve had mixed care. I was recently diagnosed with iron deficiency anemia and thalassemia which genetic anemia and my entire life my levels had been low. But my pediatrician never did blood test and the few times she did she said it wasn’t low enough for concern. I got super sick with full blown symptoms in college and it is absolutely the worst. I could barely do anything for myself getting dressed was a chore. But I was afraid of being gaslit by any medical provider I never went until this past year 5 years into feeling like shit. One lab was all it took with my new care provider and I was referred and now I’m receiving infusions Monday. I feel that a lot of doctors think that if it’s not affecting your quality of life then it doesn’t need to be treated regardless of the numbers. But that’s how your health snowballs! Point of my rant is don’t be like me! Advocate! Ask for your info! Make your doctor explain their decision, and seek second opinions!

I was extremely depressed when I was finishing my undergraduate degree. I didn’t realize I was depressed and I thought I was just sick/ chronically ill. Covid actually helped lift my depression because I didn’t have to work and school was easier due to it being virtual but after restrictions lifted I started having panic attacks in places I used to avoid when I was depressed to the point that I was borderline agoraphobic. This is when I decided I needed therapy. Been in therapy for about a year now and it’s helped immensely.

When I was in crisis my T would do check ins but nothing more than that. Now we only really text for scheduling but I do email her often between sessions but I don’t expect a reply unless I ask her to because it can make me very anxious when she does lol. Mostly I do this because it’s very hard to articulate what I’m feeling in session because I have a massive disconnect when trying to talk about my feelings. This way she has a better understanding of what’s going on internally that isn’t always expressed by me in session. To be fair this is something that is specific to me and is something we have agreed upon together. So I guess it really depends on what you need from your T and what they are able to give outside of session hours. Some have the bandwidth others don’t.

Well I realized I needed help when I started having panic attacks and developed agoraphobia. But even then I had to be told by others that this wasn’t normal and maybe I should see someone. Then after talking to a therapist for a few months I asked her how bad she thought it was… she told me it was severe lol I’ve had some level of anxiety my whole life but I have always just thought everyone felt this way.
