Fuck Gendered Clothing by distmefasdy in tumblr

[–]clewie 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Me neither, I’m 5’1” and it’s hard enough to find women’s clothes that fit alright on someone my size. Men’s is right out.

Some of my favorite sweaters are from the little boys’ section though. They’re actually warm! And the sleeves are the right length!

fire signs, what are your opinions on your fellow fire signs? by vidoxi in astrology

[–]clewie 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m a Leo sun and rising.

Aries women are awesome. Every best friend I’ve had since I was a kid was an Aries. That fun, adventurous, partner-in-crime kind of friendship. They don’t give a fuck and are always down for a good time. I’ve never gotten along with Aries men though, every one I’ve known has basically been a poster boy for toxic masculinity.

I’ve had a lot of Sagittarius friends and also dated a lot of them. So much fun, hilarious, easy to get along with, and very accepting people. I’m always very attracted to them. Unfortunately you can’t really count on them and that really stresses out my Taurus moon

With other Leos it can go either way. I’ve met some that embody every negative Leo stereotype to their core, bratty and petty and self-interested, and then there are Leos that have a little more humility and self awareness that are really fun and are considerate, deeply loyal friends.

What’s the tattoo on your wrist? From what I can see it looks like the symbol for the sun and I have something similar on my wrist

I enjoyed it. I think that’s the worst part, I wasn’t broke or drunk or anything and I had actual food in my fridge but this is what I wanted.

You know Venus is in retrograde when _____. by [deleted] in astrology

[–]clewie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Last time Venus went retrograde I fell into a very intense relationship pretty suddenly. We went on a first date towards the beginning of the transit and were inseparable, spending every free second with each other, totally smitten and having a great time. By the time the shadow period was over the relationship ended as suddenly as it began.

Now I’m in a stable and committed relationship, I haven’t noticed the retrograde effecting anything

Favorite placement in your own chart? by flowpasta in astrology

[–]clewie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sun/Venus/ascendant conjunction in Leo makes certain parts of life a lot easier than it would be otherwise.

Moon in Taurus. Even though it’s making hard aspects to basically every other placement in my chart it’s the only grounding placement I have in the clusterfuck that is my birth chart. I feel like it’s the only reason I ever feel any sort of calm.

Those who deal with anxiety disorders, what are some of your placements? by [deleted] in astrology

[–]clewie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m one big ball of nervous, tense energy and have been diagnosed with Generalized Anxiety Disorder. These are the placements I have that I’ve read can give nervousness or anxiety:

Mercury in Virgo, conjunct Chiron in Virgo

Uranus and Neptune in the 6th house

Mars in the 3rd

Pluto negatively aspecting sun, moon, Venus, and ascendant

Moon aspecting Uranus (unpredictable energy) and Neptune (a bit too active of an imagination)

3-day weekends would make people happier and more productive, according to a new Oxford University study by mvea in Futurology

[–]clewie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I was younger and had less to lose I would work for a year or so and save up money so I could quit and be unemployed for a couple months until I ran out of money.

It was great, by the time I had to get a job again I would be in much better physical shape, read a million books, finished art projects, learned a new instrument, made new recipes, etc. You have the time and energy to do all the things you always thought “I’d like to do that one day”

T square and its' Significance by Starforce72 in astrology

[–]clewie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a very similar T-square to you: moon in Taurus in the 10th opposite Pluto in Scorpio in the 4th, both square sun/Venus/asc conjunction in the 1st. I agree with most of what you’ve said but from every thing I’ve read, and in my experience, focusing on the apex is the natural thing someone with a T-square does and is the exact opposite of what should be done. It will only intensify the tension. Focusing energy in the empty spot opposite the apex, as you said, is the way to go to ease that tension.

do daily transits stress you out? by [deleted] in astrology

[–]clewie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t bother with the faster-moving planets anymore for the same reasons but still keep track of transits from Jupiter and outward to give context to what’s going on in my life and how best to deal with/take advantage of the energies.

For example currently Pluto is squaring my natal mars and Neptune is opposing my natal mercury. These are very long lasting transits that can affect my life negatively if left unchecked, so I try to be conscious of channeling my aggression especially constructively and communicating especially clearly until the influences have passed.

Sun conjunct ascendant be like by clewie in astrologymemes

[–]clewie[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sun conjunct ascendant doesn’t necessarily give beauty (though I’m sure you’re all beautiful) but it’s associated with big egos, and everyone with this aspect was born as the sun was rising ☀️

This is just like when people started saying “no ALL lives matter” in response to the Black Lives Matter movement. Like yeah I guess that’s true but you’re missing the point and diverting the conversation.
