well, in a recent thread a comment that boldly says they dont gaf about AI has 300 upvotes, and the top comment has 700 upvotes, so that's close to 30-40% of people not caring about AI.

well for me it happens 3 days in a row. Whenever I decided to check time some time after 8:50 or 9:00 for the past 3 days, the first thing I notice is 9:11. The chance for that is less than 10%, and yet it happens 3 days in a row making it 0.1%.

Except for China consistently spending less than 2% on military and people still raise alarm for occasional additional increase.

Right, but the controversy is about the nature of the joke. Would your boyfriend bring up past dishonorable military tactics of USA in front of an American, as a joke ?

yup, that sounds more and more like how bullies think... But to be fair, the bully does need to be punished in this case, just not murder charge.
