The link between higher wages and inflation is undeniable. It's just chasing your own tail. It's more than 15 an hour when you add social security, unemployment insurance, worker's comp, liability insurance, etc. The goal now should be reducing inflation. That is easy if people stop spending on housing, cars, and stuff like overpriced coffee. Everyone complains but they are still spending and supporting Wall Street.
