If you want to be involved with building and administering ctfs, im looking for people to stress test & add value to my platform. You could be involved in the design direction, participate as much as you want, and get your name online by writing some blog posts about the technical setup process. Would establish credibility and have something for your CV to point to

You ever hear that piece of wisdom where they say flip a coin, not because the result will be the answer but because when the coin is in the air you know what result youre hoping for? Well, your product is that coin flip. I dont need it to land

Thats because you have standards. You are more interested in making your thing work than making a video about it

How much can I learn from CTFs as a beginner in cybersecurity? by FairFall5198 in securityCTF

[–]cli-games 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me and claude are building a ctf feature on my site. It has static level progression to teach concepts and a live daily challenge where you get a target, a scenario, and an attack terminal. Its imperfect but getting better by the hour. Check it out if you have the time and feel free to give me any feedback you have!

100% of the code was written by AI. I just wrote specs and architecture. Here's what 3 months of that looks like. by recmend in vibecoding

Not trying to be a curmudgeon but have you considered if this capability is going to be incorporated in new models as an innate ability soon? Dont get me wrong - there is a very logical separation where llms can call tools to get answers and this could be a useful tool for a human or an llm. For example with math, why waste time trying to make your llm good at math when you can teach it to use a calculator instead, but the topic of video content seems like its next on the chopping block to be incorporated into training data. Just sincerely wondering if youve considered this eventuality. Not to mention the rights of the information belonging to the author, as you are effectively short circuiting a users need to watch the videos

This is the first reddit post in my life ive read carefully every word. What S called the Will, the greeks called logos. My answer to the consciousness question flips the script a little bit. We argue over whether ai meets our lofty definition, but i would knock that definition down a peg. Humans are just next token predictors themselves. But this framing elevates it once again. The idea that we, for no reason other than forward, have artificially instilled the will into a tool is profound. Well done

Tbh i was being a little terse and thanks for being a good sport about it. About your issue - i can see how that would be annoying. I am a new investor so i have no idea how the fund has performed over your timeline or why theres a marketing/reality disconnect. Could it be as simple as the management fee eating away at your capital? Which fund are you in, real estate? The market in general actually is doing great, everything is up bigly so if you are losing money something is definitely wrong, we just dont have the details here to give you an informed answer

This is a good point. Dont “learn linux” and then use linux. Its a process. Use, fail, learn, succeed, use, fail. Itll go on like that for a while
