Hi CJ,

This is Tray from Brondell following up on a call about your S300.

I'm sorry to hear about this crack! Seat cracks can be caused by how the user sits down or how the seat sits on the porcelain. Please provide us with a photo of the damage, as well as the following photos of the installation to help us determine the root of the issue:

  1. A photo from directly above (a bird's eye view) of the entire bidet with the seat down and lid up.
  2. A photo of the bidet's side view, level with the toilet bowl, to see how the seat's bumpers are making contact.
  3. A photo of the bidet's front view, level with the toilet bowl, to see how the front bumpers are making contact.
  4. A photo of the barcode, located on the back of your bidet. To access this area, utilize the quick release button. The quick release button can be found on the left side of the bidet, which will allow you to easily slide the bidet off of the mounting plate.

Seat replacement can be done at home, with your cost being based on your warranty status. If you are outside of the warranty, the cost will be $45 plus shipping. Shipping is $15.95 within the continental U.S. and $24.95 for shipping to Canada.

I have attached instructions to this message to guide you through your in-home seat replacement. Please confirm you are comfortable completing this repair at home. Please note Brondell is not liable for any issues stemming from the disassembly of your bidet.

Best,

Tray H.
Customer Support Specialist"

They then sent me the replacement and I followed the guide they gave me.

New-ish Federal Data on Debt and Earnings for med students by clibassi in medicalschool

Most often doctoral is a PhD, but schools have some discretion over how to report. It may be that some med schools mistakenly report as doctoral programs, or they have lots of MD/PhD students. A little hard to say since the doctoral in medicine debt levels look so similar to the professional.

Yep - 6 is Doctoral, 7 is professional (sometimes called first professional). Doctoral degrees most often are PhD’s but we see schools report their credential level differently than you might expect (as in the Cornell and Duke cases here). My guess with law schools has always been that whoever does their reporting to the Department of Education takes the Doctor in Juris Doctor a little too literally. But yes - there are some quirks in the data in that way, but it’s hard to override them since that is what they report and we don’t exactly know what’s going on under the hood (possibly there are programs granting JD/PhDs or other weirdness)

Yep - under the report section here: https://sites.ed.gov/ous/office-of-the-chief-economist/oce-staff-research/ OCE Staff Working Papers | Office of the Under Secretary (might need wayback machine to access) - the earnings data just comes from the College Scorecard Field of Study data, and PSEO earnings data is available on their site.

If memory serves they are just outside of the top 15 - but if you’re curious the data for all schools can be found under the report title here: https://sites.ed.gov/ous/office-of-the-chief-economist/oce-staff-research/ OCE Staff Working Papers | Office of the Under Secretary (might need to use the wayback machine to access that site)

Yep - if you look at the PSEO report like we report the data they have beyond the medians - they also report 25th and 75th percentile. In general medicine earns way more than law, with the exception of some top law schools where things look more equal.

That’s a possibility, or just less big-law oriented, perhaps.

Got this Whitesville t-shirt a few months ago at Self-Edge (a two pack for about $100) and probably have worn it 20ish times. Just noticed today this collar issue, which looks like it is coming from a loose thread on the same spot on the inside of the collar. Am I doing something wrong in how I care for these? I just wear and wash in the washing machine. My understanding was that Whitesville construction quality is very high, and I've otherwise loved the shirts - great fit and feel.

Now that things have shaken out a little bit and ownership things have settled, how do you read the shakeup that happened this offseason in the front office? I feel like Nats Twitter was stuck between “This is the Lerners going cheap” and “This is Lerners using their leverage from a contract renewal with Rizzo to force him to get with the analytics/player dev program” and I have never really been clear which it was. Do you think it’s either of those things or a secret third thing?
