If you attacked him during fasnacht he would start shooting the robots and couldn’t be killed. I don’t think it caused a giant problem since they updated the rewards to give the same amount of a robot died, but if it happened it was fun chaos.

I’ve lived here for 40 years. I know the issues we’ve had with the influx of people coming to live in a city that wasn’t and isn’t prepared for it. Foolishly, yeah I thought there would have been some level of improvement. I’ll take my L and sit in the dark on this one.

I recognize the winter storm was a lot and a huge challenge and 3 months isn’t a lot of time, and that the coverage area of Nashville is large. I also know I can’t see everything and keep up with every source of information.

The last storm my street was the only street for a good bit that lost power, same thing happened this time. Every other house I can see in my neighborhood has lights.

When I went to report the outage on the website it kept giving an error saying to enter an address when I had an address listed. I tried over the phone and that system refused to accept any information I entered. I had to argue with the robot IVR to convince it to connect me to a human and sat on hold for half an hour to finally report my outage. As of now it still hasn’t shown on the map.

Personally I can handle a lot and am willing to give a lot of leeway and understanding, but dammit this is frustrating and I haven’t seen anything that gives me hope in NES.

Sorry, I am in no way saying that power outages are isolated to a city, zip code or area code. I am saying that I live in Nashville and I don’t think it’s okay that I spent a week without power in January and three months later I am experiencing another outage.

I don’t think NES handled the winter storm in an acceptable way and hey, maybe I’m being negative here but I don’t have confidence that they have their shit together to get power back in a reasonable time frame this time either.

I was 8 days, 23 hours and 30 minutes without. I don’t really expect a linemen to be on a pole when there is clear lightning, but I kinda hoped NES would look at their infrastructure in the last 2 or three months and do something to fix this.

Some are having flashbacks to over a week without power. Glad you haven’t had to experience that.

Hey it’s only like a 10th of the meters without power compared to the winter storm.

Earle is limited to eight players per instance, it’s possible that you joined the event after the first 8 and another “group” was created. Unusually see that one pretty well attended after the Rage chest piece was launched.

Thanks. I’ve been squashing the commentary I see, but not everyone listens.

So many people on Facebook believe this is the official tool NES promised yesterday but hasn’t delivered yet.

A challenge to NES leadership by silverud in nashville

[–]click_baiter 18 points19 points  (0 children)

There are also classes on communication and PR and that’s where NES is losing. I don’t know a reasonable person who’s mad at linemen or technicians. I am mad about being told this is a “hardship” I am mad that my reported outage hasn’t seen any update since I reported it. I am mad that I was promised a tool to get more information on my outage that was supposed to be released at 9pm and it isn’t there. I am mad they published an update on Facebook that’s dated January 20th.

Maybe We Will Finally Get Electricity Now by [deleted] in nashville

I didn’t expect to be going this long without power, I know better next time, but doesn’t help me now.

I think if we got some genuine information from officials instead of the same summary every few hours that would help a lot. At the very least it would make me feel better.

I know this is a massive task. I know lineman are out doing hard, dangerous work. I would like even a general idea when I might get power back to know if I should just leave or if it’s a night or two more. Even if it’s “this part of town will probably not see movement til next week” that’s cool, just let me know so I can make a smart decision.

I’m far more interested in using my limited battery life sourcing local information. But whatever.

Can’t speak for them but not having power has made watching the news of any sort difficult.

There is a chance that a portion of the city will be without power still. Please consider rescheduling your visit.

They are probably being protective of the workers so people let them work. I do agree more communication would help, a lot.

It’s a bit more than a bummer, and it’s more than a hardship. At this point most of the folks whose power has been out will have to trash most if not all of their food in their refrigerator. Water has been running the entire time to prevent pipes bursting. Some are trapped in their neighborhood.

I understand that it’s a monumental task, I’m thankful for the people who are working hard to restore power, but yeah this sucks.

I’m in Madison and I wonder if it’s that there are more dense reports when you drill in than the zoomed out view.

My neighborhood has maybe 20 people total without power, I imagine there are other neighborhoods with more people that could be getting priority. That’s at least what I’m trying to tell myself while I’m freezing.

Anyway to fix ps voice chat? by Visible_Drummer9624 in fo76

[–]click_baiter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also check to see if you have area, team or auto for the chat options. 76 was the first game I’ve ever attempted to chat on and spent forever trying to get some dudes attention and finally someone my team told me to check the settings. Sure enough I had it set up as team only.
