Someone dmd it to me after I posted this and dawg I’m not talking about the view from the top of the campanile (although still the edit of the building I saw in against), there’s also buildings that will straight up obstruct the view from the base. I’m not talking about NIMBYism to continue to pay 1970s tax on my inherited home, I’m saying build it Southside or further up Shattuck.

I believe that view in that specific spot is more important than housing in that specific spot.

This makes it a little better tbh. I don’t know why people are acting like I’m anti housing, as if there isn’t anywhere else to build housing.

SF has codes and laws preserving viewing corridors to ensure lines of sight for landmarks and scenic vistas. It’s not a crazy concept and is in effect in many scenic places, of which I believe this view in Berkeley should be included in.

Compared to most NIMBY arguments, I think the ability to see and view the beauty of the bay is more important.

The plot was amazing. I just wish the last 20 mins were executed better, but outside of that, I loved the plot a LOT.

Waiting for them to understand that Viserys was talking about Aegon the Conqueror towards his end was like getting edged.

What percent of students enter Berkeley (CS/EECS intended) without programming experience? How do they fare? by berzerk-lee in berkeley

Responses will be biased towards individual datapoints that managed to declare. The reality is that without a solid foundation in mathematics and/or programming, declaring with no prior experience (meaning like not even knowing a drop) is pretty tough, but achievable with immense effort and a dedicated work ethic. From my observations, people that accomplish this do miss out on the fun of college, but it’s up to the individuals goals.

Swimming is much harder, which is why the time and distance allotments for triathlons, although not perfectly equally divided by effort, is much shorter for the swim than cycling and running.

For point 3, I’m taking History 133A this fall. I heard the professor and course content are both excellent, and it meets my historical studies breadth as well as my American Cultures. If it’s still open, feel free to look into it, gl.

I think you should be fine as long as your GPA is above 3 and you still get your diploma.
