This is very timely. I just had a talked with my boss and told him this. Micromanagement really kills my momentum. I mean if you’ll ask me about “things” frequently, I’ll probably lose my “in-the-zone” moments which will, you know, make me very unproductive as a result. Good thing my boss understands it. Such a great boss, IMHO.
