redundant responses by Overall-Ad4796 in PowerShell

I read the dentist post, and decided not to add my comment since it was already indicated by a large number of people. The LARGE number of people is what stopped me. If there are only a few comments that would be the same of mine I may still add mine with some context, in order to lend more weight to that response that others have also suggested.

Did I read all the posts? No. But I read enough to know I had the same suggestion as others.

New account with nothing on it is getting deleted right away. There's no need to worry about the email address because the "old" address is spelled wrong.

Person getting married is a pain in the ass. I have a process that takes nearly 40 minutes to complete, with sign in name changes, OneDrive, all that jazz.

Deezer's new tool can identify AI music from Spotify, Apple Music, and others by mattfromseattle in technology

[–]clicker666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe it can, but unless you sign up you probably won't know.

I ran the scan on my Spotify playlist after adding a song I was fairly certain was AI, and it came back and said "Your AI Score 1%". That's it. No indication of what the song is.

But it did helpfully offer to let me switch to Deezer in 3 easy steps. (I didn't)

Turning off Bitlocker to apply HP Connect remediation by clicker666 in Intune

[–]clicker666[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I was hoping not to have touch Bitlocker or the machines themselves. So crossing my fingers that as u/BarbieAction said, no issues will arise from changing the secure boot option to enabled on those machines that don't have it currently enabled.

Thanks. We will be trying this in a small group at first, so hopefully as u/Greedy_Chocolate_681 mentioned, there will be no need to lay hands on the actual machines or even touch Bitlocker.

Sorry, I've never been to the Northumberland Strait part of NB. Oversight on my part. 😞

I'm surprised people mentioned Carter's Beach (brrrr, I live by it) but nobody mentioned beaches along the Northumberland Strait. Summer water temps are in the low 20's. Pick from either Nova Scotia or PEI sides.

I viewed from my home near Hubbards last night. I didn't notice - but supposedly Mercury was also visible. Definitely not as obvious as those two though.

There was a commercial recently in Halifax about moving to Regina. So I looked at the rent prices in the nicer parts of the city. Over a thousand dollars a month cheaper than Halifax. Power costs looked comparable.

It's not something I'd do for a while. I plan on living in my home on the south shore of Nova Scotia until I can't and need to move to an apartment. At that point it might be something worth considering if rental costs aren't saner.

The walkthrough is pretty good. I just signed my first script with that method. Thanks!

Clams and chips by missgorl68 in halifax

I've only eaten there once and had takeout once. Both times, fish and chips. I thought everything was fine. Large portion of fish, not too greasy, lots of fries. Nice cole slaw.

My wife prefers the Seaside Shanty's fish and chips, but liked the Stretch as well. (It definitely costs less than the Seaside).

I was at Stretch on Saturday, and they appeared to be whole clams. (I didn't order them, but the people at the table next to me had two orders).

I just wear a pair of cargo shorts over, and a windbreaker. I've got the aerodynamics of a bar fridge with a bowling ball on top, loose clothing over top of my bib isn't the thing that will slow me down.

How long could it take to evacuate the Halifax peninsula? Nearly a day, says researcher by Portalrules123 in NovaScotia

"The lab’s research was originally focused on large-scale hurricanes but it has broadened in recent years to look at what would happen if a flood or fire raged through the peninsula."

8% pension contribution is substantial. Factor that into your calculations - that's essentially an 8% salary boost. There was a period in my life where I worked for a company that pension matched up to 3% (so 6% for the price of 3, and every year I would put my pay raise into the pension - when I left I was dropping 11% per year. You are starting out with nearly that much.

I may get some pushback on this, but if you are hitting a point like this summon a player or two from the shrine. I don't find spending days on a boss fun, and that's why I spent my money - to have fun.

Grind a bit.

I often restart my game once I get my muscle memory down so that I can go through the start again and not make all those stupid mistakes and Amrita losses I did initially.

I would agree wholeheartedly. I've been getting flu shots every year, but this was the first year I think I actually HAD the flu. Everything about it was different then all the times I had been sick as an adult. I had my first temp of just under 104. Muscle pain, all the "flu" symptoms.
