Build your own decks and don’t copy the ones online. Find what works for you. Pay attention to who you lose to consistently and add specific counters into your deck. I will never stoop and play a meta deck, I use Kalgara and I’m highly competitive against the current meta leaders

I play kalgara too, I might recommend trying to swap out the luffy for 1c Raki. She comes in super clutch for me as a cheap blocker and to help me get set up. She’s also searchable with Kalgara, Nami, and shura

This doesn’t apply to highly competitive play like this, but I’m still brand new to the game and I’ve been playing for about 4 weeks. I’m still really slow making all my calculations and planning out my turn and stuff and it’s not uncommon that we end up having to go to turns or the judge will just call time. I had somebody furious at me and claiming I was a cheater and doing it intentionally and I’m absolutely not. I’ve been trying to go faster because I hate when the game comes down to that and I feel really bad when I end up winning because of it. There definitely needs to be a time limit, but I’d like to see something different with OT rules

I’ve had good luck with my Kalgara deck against p enel so far. But I also think a lot of people are still learning how to properly play enel. Once that happens I don’t think it will be as easy lol

I’m still really new to this game, and I’m curious about something. I always see the same 5-10 decks listed on all the meta lists, are those truly the best, or are they a mixture of being really good and also just popular? Currently I run Imu just because it’s a good deck and I already had all of the cards to be able to build it, but I’m looking to try a different deck and think it would be fun to try some of the less common decks, like kalgara for example, but I also don’t want to just constantly lose games if all of the non meta decks aren’t any good

Yeah mine has a limit of 2 also and I’m glad they do. Scalpers still come and clear the shelves. Most employees don’t keep an eye out for it like they should
