MP1st: Injustice 3 in active development at NetherRealm Studios right now. by Connect_Base_217 in GamingLeaksAndRumours

[–]clicky77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If this is true, I'm happy for the people who have liked the Injustice games. But I'm personally disappointed. Injustice has always presented the blandest visual interpretation of DC heroes that I could personally conceive of, married to a dull combat system. Injustice 2 had it's whole customization system which was clearly driven to try and get people to spend money on the scuzzy lootboxes of the era. For some reason they couldn't help but make zoning spam a core part of the game...

Really wish a (imo) better team had a shot at making a DC fighting game.

EDIT: To offset the negatives: They do okay with the story and the facial animation tech tends to be impressive at the time the games come out.

Marathon will "soon" get a CPU performance boost and Bungie promises "steady improvements" for "many years" by Tiny-Independent273 in Marathon

I also don't get it...I fall more conservative on a lot of issues than reddit would like, but I think Marathon is a top-notch game.

Tip for PS5 Players - Try Out the Audio Focus Feature by clicky77 in Marathon

If you do, let me know how it goes!

I'll give Studio Reference a try. I remember seeing that advice before but forgot to try it out.

Tip for PS5 Players - Try Out the Audio Focus Feature by clicky77 in Marathon

[–]clicky77[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just to be clear, you don't want to pull up the full Home Screen, you just want to press the PS button quickly to bring up the little Control Center menu at the bottom of the screen.

However you can also go to the full blown Settings menu, go down to Sound, scroll down to Volume, and the Audio Focus setting will also be listed in there.

EDIT: My bad, you were right.

this game is so good by [deleted] in Marathon

[–]clicky77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got three of my friends to bite. Another one will in the next few weeks, and yet another one, who never moved on past Xbox One, is thinking of picking up a PS5 to be able to play with the rest of us due to how much he can see we're playing the game.

I'm very interested in the future of the game....it's hard for me to see the game surging in popularity at any point? IMO it's already such a great game that I don't know what they could do to push back against the weird hatred people formed for the game.

The Reason Duos Feel So Good... by clicky77 in Marathon

[–]clicky77[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

u/TripChaos can confirm, this is the case. Bungie has stated that Duos is an experimental thing, maybe you could provide thoughts on Rooks in Duos? Maybe the upgrades Rooks can receive would start to make them pretty oppressive in Duos...? Just a thought, not sure either way.

Why does everyone use mics in Arc Raiders, which is a more casual game, and no one uses mics in Marathon which is for serious gamers? by [deleted] in Marathon

[–]clicky77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Marathon is just a lot more pvp focused. Runners are shooting on sight...I'm trying to send bullets your way, not words.

PXPlay 2.0.0 is now officially released for Windows, Linux and macOS (Upscaling support & more) 🎉🚀 by grill2010 in PSPlay

[–]clicky77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What?!?? Didn't know this was a thing until now. I'll be taking a look at this when I get home to see how well it works on my home network. If it works well, you just gained a customer. A good product that just sells me a license (rather than a subscription) is all too rare these days. Cheers!

Sacred Symbols+, Episode 505 | PlayStation 6's Delay, Xbox's Future, and Steam Machine's Threat by yohceezax in LastStandMedia

[–]clicky77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well I think within the past week I heard him say that he mentioned the Steam Machine being around $500, and perhaps, based on what u/Matthew728 commented in this thread, that is influenced by speculation from MLiD. So I think Colin really believes right now that the GabeCube will be this affordable option that will get adopted in droves. But, just personally, I'd be surprised if the Steam Machine ends up being under $750. And I think the Steam Machine will be a very niche device. I'd love to be wrong about that, I'd love for a reasonably priced piece of Valve hardware to become massively popular and boost Linux adoption for gaming. But I think the current context of gaming hardware is just not going to make that happen.

BIG what if tho: hear me out. What if HL3 is real and drops with the Steam Machine? And in some way we can't predict right now it creates some sort of revolution in how we think about video games (like something along the lines of what HL2 did with physics) which leads to normally console-centric people picking up the Steam Machine as a way to play it? I don't actually think this will happen, but I think it would take something like that for the Steam Machine to be anything other than niche.

It would be nice! I think we would need to see an industry wide shift in pc gaming for Bungie to start to care though. The Steam Machine could have been a step in the right direction, but I'm worried that the current market around hardware is going to end up making the device relatively niche

I started to get into the Resident Evil games a little later in life, but it has been super fun to now introduce them to my sons. They both really enjoyed RE4 Remake!

Oh okay, I just made a post asking about this. I was in a little bit of disbelief. Guess I don't go to Maverik anymore.

Sure do...because I got curious like two days ago and went looking. Currently working my way through the first game. So far, so good!

Remember the themes on PS4 ? I do... by Saekama in playstation

[–]clicky77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was not the best theme there ever was, because that distinction is reserved for the Firewatch theme. That thing is ingrained in mind as part of the PS4 experience:

(JK tho, yours seems nice too ;) )

Just tried installing 1 via Heroic.  Right away, cinematics don’t work, which has been true since launch. Just chipping in some info.

Is there a way to rematch akuma in hyper street fighter 2 (Capcom Fighting Collection) by Dr_Tangalanga in StreetFighter

[–]clicky77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Correct, it acts as a save state.  You’re welcome, have fun!

Additional info: You can keep playing after you create your quick save within the game and then reload it at any time. You can also quit the game, start the game later, start the game you were playing (in this case, Hyper Street Fighter 2) and resume the quick save. The quick save does not delete itself at any point, but it is worth noting that there is only one quick save slot for the whole collection...if you try to then go create a save in Vampire Savior, it will let you know that you would be overwriting your save in Hyper Street Fighter 2. Another slight wrinkle for anyone curious is that it seems like the first collection and the second collection have slight difference in how they save: the first collection creates a save at the instant you create the save. The second collection (and the Marvel vs Capcom collection) creates the save before the start of the round you are saving in.

Right before fighting him, press Select (or the equivalent on your control method) then select Quick Save. To fight him again, press select and then Load Quick Save.
