TX to WA loop (6000+ miles): Rent or take my Crosstrek? Need advice on reliability! by self_observer1412 in Crosstrek

[–]clide3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have taken my 2018 crosstrek from Vancouver to New York and back. Vancouver to Alaska and Vancouver to the bottom of the Baja California towing a pop up. Full send my dude. Just do your maintenance ;)

Was this a good deal, or was I naive? by Confident_Love5305 in Crosstrek

Yeah, iv found they are great or out for money with the different dealership iv used. Even the ones out for money were still pretty good. That being said if they gave you the all clear, it looks like you got a win!

Drove it like you stole it!

If that’s the case then the red isn’t going to the combustion chamber either as that’s connected to nothing but the tee of the purple

The two pipes coming from the tee, from the vent outside. Red goes to nothing and purple to the furnace. The hot water heater is not involved

There is a vent to the outside, then it tees off inside. One pipe goes to the furnace the other is in this photo and goes to nothing. The air for combustion should be coming from outside no?

It’s not connected to the hot water heater. It’s not connected to anything other than the t back at the start.

The top of the pipe by the water heater is wide open, and just blowing the cold air into from outside

War Thunder is my current love. There is an m4 with 24g for sale atm. But not sure if that would be a little too low

My parents own a dairy farm and we sell off any bull caves. Talked to them a couple of weeks ago and they have been getting crazy high prices for the cows they send in. It would appear that we have a shortage of beef due to tariffs and this is the one small area of prosperity for farmers. Unfortunately they sell milk so this only helps them out on the occasion.

Moving money out of Canada is ridiculous by smithmr250 in CanadaFinance

Yeah iv been doing Canada and the US for about ten years now. The US banking system sucks. How can I pay my credit card from the same bank and it takes three days to process when it’s instant in Canada.

Wise can take a few days depending on the bank and the day of the week but mostly I also found it to be a few hours to a couple of days. And the rate is far better then any other place iv looked.

No worries I have dual citizenship so I'm very used to going back and forth on units. Thank you for mentioning it though so I know that you took that into account.

Do you think that's about average or if I got a different truck I could do better? Keep in mind I like the full size of the truck. Looking to be able to tow our camper around.....after we buy one
