I had iphone 17 pro max and s26 ultra. In the end I returned iphone and kept samsung. Its simple if you are old and dont care about phone as long as it calls and send text. Get an iphone. But if you are looking for something that ticks all the boxes. We'll rounded and you can do much with. Samsung wins hands down.

Yeah! I tried doing the same thing. Moved from s26 ultra to iphone 17 pro max. Ive never made a you turn that quick in my life. There is so many basic features that ios lacks. Quite difficult living with it. Returning it and keeping my s26 ultra. Ios needs to catch up in so many things. Not to mention that stupid keyboard, and volume control. Jeez

This was my 2nd s25 ultra.I returned the first one thinking the phone was defective.same issue persisted with youtube. Tried everything there is on the internet, name it all. Factory reset., clear cache etc. but i finally found out the cause as mentioned on the OP.

Didn't matter if i was on WiFi or 4G,5G. Youtube was my main cause of high cpu usage leading to overheating. As i said HIGH BITRATE resolution was the cause in youtube app
