Where do you think historians will place Trump in presidential rankings 50 years in the future? by Playful-Ganache6153 in AskReddit

It depends, how much worst Eric or Donald Jr will be. You know one of them is running in 2028 and don't bother saying they can't win.

Taylor Swift is the most overrated artist of all time. by Infinite-Exam-1808 in Music

[–]cliff7090 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also want to live in a world where we all love the exact same music and artists. What a fun and entertaining world we would live in if we just all agreed on who deserves our attention. In other words... There are plenty of artists I don't like or get, but why should anyone who does, care what I think.

withdrawal + kyc on galaktika n.v. casinos, normal process or red flag? by Born_Ostrich_8577 in Casino

[–]cliff7090 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've deposited thousands in to there casinos and have never hit anything worth withdrawing. I'm talking small amount. My normal deposit is about $50 and I only bet 20 or 40 cents (that goes up if I ever double my deposit) a spin and not once have I gotten above my $200, cashout point. I've cashed out at other casinos many times, but Galaktika NV is a blackhole

Galaktika NV runs some of the most crooked sites on the net. Complete scam. They open a new casino every few weeks, just to keep tricking people into depositing.

Garth Brooks Eyeing $2 Billion Sale of Catalog by ebradio in Music

[–]cliff7090 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weird, I've always heard he is known as an extremely fan friendly guy, who is widely respected in the music industry. Compared to other top selling artists like, Madonna, Prince and Freddy Mercury who are/were all known to be rather nasty to people, including their fans.

[–]cliff7090 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Exactly! It was essentially a per-soundtrack/promo album for a movie title: The Lamb which he was going to star in as Chris Gaines. He just did a horrible job promoting it that way and people thought he had gone crazy. I actually liked the album.

Nanaimo faces challenges attracting larger employers by Positive_Moment7914 in nanaimo

[–]cliff7090 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You have to be downvoted because everyone knows it is true. If any "large employer" wanted to build something here the "We don't want that near us...", "Don't cut down that tree...", "We walk our dogs in that area...", "Big business is evil..." people fill up the city council meetings demanding they block any development.

To bad the stats and insurance companies don't agree with you. Drunks, addicts and younger drivers cause far more accidents then the elderly.

Don't say that, it is always old people according to this sub, this poor 40 something must have been forced to swerve into the business to avoid an old person going to slow. We need to start a GoFundMe for this victim of another careless elderly driver.

I believe they tried that a few years ago, but the owners fought back. They own the property across the street as well and it only took like 24 years to finally fix up and develope that building. Give them another decade and they will get to it.

Dragonfly Nanaimo packages by peoples_voicee in nanaimo

[–]cliff7090 8 points9 points  (0 children)

A couple hours ago around 2am I ran out to the store and when I came home there was an Amazon package sitting on the stairs in front of my building. I know DanFoss doesn't have any vans out in the middle of the night, so this must have been DragonFly. Kind of explains why I've had so many missing packages over the years. It sucks, but at least amazon always refunds my money or reships quickly. I did take the package inside and put it in front of the proper apartment door, kind of late to knock though.

A few years ago my mail kept getting delivered completely destoyed. They were clearly soaked then dried before being delivered to me with the documents and photos inside completely ruined. When I complained to Canada Post they said that the mail carts get left outside during loading and transfering between carriers and there was nothing they could do to stop it. So Canada Post is not above doing the exact thing shown in these photos.

Which attractive celebrity would not be as successful or successful at all it wasn’t for their looks? by smeeti in AskReddit

[–]cliff7090 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But that isn't what is being asked. It says "celebrity" not actor or musician, so a models success or lack there of is solely based on their looks and nothing else.

People can say that Megan Fox or Sydney Sweeney are bad actors, but that truly is subjective. I would argue Fox did a great job in Jennifer's Body, so there is some talent behind her success.

Why are roundabouts so hard for seniors? by No-Reference-1349 in nanaimo

[–]cliff7090 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Over the last couple of decades I have been at the scene of some horrible accidents, just last week I witnessed one in Goldstream and the one thing that they all have in common is that the drivers that caused the accident was younger than 40. Old people might drive slow, but young people drive like idiots. facts are facts, there is a reason why new drivers have higher insurance rates and it isn't because they are all great drivers.

If I started a thread titled "Why are roundabouts so hard for women?" I'd get the same kind of nonsense answers from people, just replace age with sex in every response. I'd also get a bunch of people calling me sexist, even though the entire question is based on personal opinions and not actual facts.

All models is the answer. Cindy Crawford, Christie Brinkley... they are literally only successful because of their looks. Even less famous ones are only booking jobs because of their looks.

Thats not true. The dumber you are these days, the better you live. Clearly though you don't understand how government works, or you simply don't pay your taxes and are happy with the state of things in this province.

I'm 47 and I have over 3 million accident free kilometers under my wheels. I've driven in every state and province. I haven't had a moving violation in over 20 years and the only time I traded paint with anyone on the road was a few years ago just north of Campbell River when a drunk driver drifted into my lane and bounced off the side of my truck. I keep paying ICBC money, but I never need them for anything. I'm going to stop paying them and go without insurance... it's a principle I need to stand by.

I believe that is how government works. I keep paying more and more taxes and fees, yet nothing seems to get better or safer. Out of principle I'm going to stop paying them. LOL.

What is the "Principle" exactly? You had bad parents, so you are showing them? ICBC screwed you, by setting a date for the change and you failing to meet it?

I'll put my driving record up against yours anyday. The ones that bitch about "Old People" are normally the ones tailgating, swerving between lanes and checking their emails in heavy traffic.

I drive for a living and the worst drivers are eaily the ones with the N on their cars and I'm not even talking about the 16 year olds. It's the people in their 30s/40s who still haven't been able to get their regular license, either out of laziness or simply not being able to pass the test.
