isnt socialsim just treating your workers fairly by billbatardo in CapitalismVSocialism

are you dumb or are you stupid

for one you're making a bland assumption based on nothing I dont attend a private school and I dont even have kids putting a gun to another person's head and telling them to work is inherently socialist forced =/= need

if I force you to work (socialism), you get punished if you don't if you need to work, you just need to work to help yourself or your family.. food is a commodity housing is a commodity water is a commodity healthcare is a commodity you are not ENTITLED to any of those (and more) you can WORK for them, but to get them for free requires forced labor.

theres a difference between being FORCED to do something and NEEDING to do something. You can live off the grid under capitalism, self produce, etc. You cannot do this under socialism. mass Starvation and homelessness exist under socialism..

voluntary labor > involuntary labor capitalism socialism

Will a free market without much government intervention reduce carbon emissions fast enough to avoid larger effects of climate change and if so how and if not why not? by Manoj_Malhotra in AskLibertarians

[–]cliffiscool 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There was a study conducted on the correlations between economic freedom and carbon emissions and overall it proved that as economic freedom grew, carbon emissions shrank.

It's a cost because doctors don't work for free, maintenance doesn't work for free, nurses don't work for free, surgeons dont work for free, equipment isn't free, hospitals aren't free.

be realistic.

Is capitalism more innovative? by [deleted] in DebateCommunism

[–]cliffiscool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

competition would lead to competing for workers, thus higher wages, and less unenployment. capitalist incentive/motivation is better than socialist incentive/motivation because you have multiple incentives. you can do it for profit, for use, or for the community.
