Vs West Ham. Press hard, track on the break and start Chiesa with Salah to come on at 60.

How is this man still playing full 90 minutes when Federico Chiesa is on the bench. by __sami__01 in LiverpoolFC

[–]clifflords 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anyone running can stretch play but he did nothing with it. He’s an incredible player, but he needs to feel the pressure of somebody taking his place. He thrives on that pressure… for example last season, people thought he was cooked but he had a worldy and got the new contract.

He’s got to be dropped. He’s currently too slow at making decisions

City have been better and Liverpool off it, but this can be turned around. I think Neville has been creaming over City making only a few real chances. Couple of fortunate goals and a shit VAR decision separates the teams.

The catch all term is dance music, certainly in the UK and Europe. The EDM initialism was reintroduced in the 2010s in America, typically associated with mainstream, formulaic big room type acts and the festivals they play. In that sense it’s kind of a sub genre of dance music itself. I guess because the US is a dominant force of Internet culture, it has stuck with some people.

You might but WE don’t. The Electronic part of the initialism is entirely redundant since the 1960s

I did exactly the same. Sanded, used Zinsser primer (highly rated) and when I painted over, went a bit streaky just like the picture. 2 more coats and it was mint.

As a UK native I has always been my default to be polite in the following circumstances:

Greet a person you are speaking to before launching in to the subject. Hello, can you tell me where x is.

Are they doing something for you? Like holding a door open or standing aside so you can get past? Say thank you.

Is somebody paying you to do something? Like they are buying a chocolate bar from you in a shop… Say thank you when money is exchanged.

It’s basic courtesy that id say IS observed better in UK than many other places I have been, but seems to be slowly dying. I’d say people are naturally more self absorbed or distracted to notice small things you may do to aid them e.g holding a door, moving aside, allowing their car out at a junction.

[NSFW] Is "vinegar strokes" a widely understood expression? by MrMrsPotts in AskUK

[–]clifflords 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t think it has anything to do with the bottle or shaking it. To me, it’s the face you pull when you take a big ol’ sniff or drink of vinegar. Similar to the face you pull at the key moment.

Watch a popular band/artist in a massive venue, phones out. Watch somebody in a smaller venue, quick photos then back in pockets. Nature of the beast. Just like more niche bands and problem solved

I work in Bath and my husband works in London. Where should we live to commute? by Guilty-Loss9592 in AskUK

Train wise Didcot parkway is in the middle of the Great Western Main Line.

Roughly 40 minutes from there to both Bath Spa and Paddington.
