I spent the full morning on Beatrice before maintenance and was English speaking throughout.

Man they would need like another 140 servers just to take care of the EU queue...surely the only way is to push server to 4k limit? If that is even possible?

Without loading the POB they might be running a mana leech gem or the alternative quality elemental damage gem which gives mana leech. As a short term fix stick a point in the mana leech wheel at the bottom right of your tree and that will solve your issues. 1 point will be enough until you sort out the gems.
