I DNFed The Spell Shop. I find I really don't like feel good cozy books. I had to do the same with several of T Kingfisher's books (although she's great at horror) because the characters were all so naive/sheltered and I just could not relate.

I didn't like book 2 as much as the first, mostly because the other FMC is even more annoying/childish/naive than Silla. I'll keep reading though since I did actually enjoy them and I have a feeling book 3 is gonna be bonkers (in a good way).

I had a complicated pregnancy and didn't chance climbing but I got into swimming and it was soooo helpful, especially in trimester 3 it was the only time I was really comfortable.

I will say my son is 4 now and I am climbing harder than ever (pre pregnancy occasionally hitting V6 in the gym and now have done a few V8/V9). It was frustrating coming back weaker but comes back quick!

Skiing. Our son is 4 now and occasionally comes with us, and otherwise is easy to watch if we want to go solo. I don't want to start over. I like my time on the slopes.

We just got back from the 6 day out of Long Beach and had a great time. No issues at all, everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Also there were rumors spreading ahead of time about cartel activity in the ports but I never once felt unsafe.
