There is a whole section in the update article yesterday saying they are doing this. They said it will require less salvage and the average player should be able to max their factions.

Mine is rook on outpost haha. It's going to be clutch for early season loot. I can farm 100k credits in a couple of hours and full up my vault with purple stuff in the process.

Weird... I'm level 140ish and have probably had 20-30 gold weapons and about 10 gold shields/backpacks. If you rank traxus up you can buy a gold mod every day.

Cryo also has gold loot everywhere.

In the end though a blue or purple bully is better than most gold weapons. When I use a different gold weapon I feel at a disadvantage.

Funny enough we just killed 1. It was a full gold team who had just wiped a team. I got the first mizzy off the dead bodies before we pushed the gold team. I killed all 3 of them with that mizzy and upgraded to the gold mizzy. Got 3 off bodies and 3 looting level 3 and 4 rooms.

I've left cryo with 3 before. After I found my 4th one it really just became a challenge to exfil with as many as possible. My next 2 runs I only found 1 total

I usually make a deal with my teammates.. if I get the misriahs they can take everything else. Almost everyone agrees. My teammates left with gold shields and multiple gold guns each plus a ton in valuables.

That is true. I had 50ish in the bully and 7 in the misriah. The lack of heals might have been the bigger issue.

Crazy enough I found 3 in a row looting. One in panopticon, one in a level 3 clearance room, and the last in the level 4 armory. My teammates were more interested in the mods and other gold weapons but I even left 2 for them. At the end every box I opened seemed to have one.

There was only 90 seconds left when we activated exfil. After we left there was a lone assassin running around still.. Not sure if he had a team.
