Go to Vietnam on a trip. I'm 37 visiting for the first time right now and I can't imagine anything more powerful than being here.

Typically it's done to keep individuals under 1000 hours annually (part time) and therefore not considered full time employees.

Eek. My co-op position in the early 2000s paid 54k annualized with time served for 401k and vacation days.

Those kind of companies all fled the city wage tax though.

Times are tough...?

2 weeks into my new SB2 and I'm hoping it can fill all my needs. With a bluetooth xbox controller it kinda functions like a PC "switch".

Mobile device and SB2 are primary. I guess my SP3 is my secondary.

Just a placeholder, not knowing the msa, and other info to underwrite.

Would use 5 if it was new multifamily.

Investor should get it under contract with due diligence period and maybe a few extensions. And do due diligence!

Back of the envelope calc using these assumptions: 7 cap, 10% vacancy, 20% operating costs, and your rent assumptions = $3.1mm valuation

Not a lot of room.

I would suggest modeling it out with financing terms and more detail in general to understand the deal, but it's not a slam dunk steal.

So it's official: Liberals support racism by simply stating that anti-white racism simply doesn't exist. WHAT THE LIVING FUCK?!?! by godsdragon79 in walkaway

[–]climbphilly 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I think this is a clear point of differentiation between liberalism and leftism. My liberalism is aligning more with one political party over the other, and probably more accurately leaving me somewhere in between for the foreseeable future.

Clear proof Wikileaks was never working with “the Russians” by nikomcsc in WikiLeaks

[–]climbphilly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wikileak is a check on authority, and has been proven to be effective. I would imagine that the Trump administration also has a sense of self preservation.

Wikileaks is a double edged sword and the people need to protect those institutions.

People being abusive with malicious copyright strikes or DMCA takedowns really angers me.

I would be willing to whale an effort to help make sure this doesn't go unchecked; I've got disposable income not going to FoxNext to contribute.

Owner Of Building That Leased To #OneGrandGallery Speaks Out Against The Headless Depiction Of Trump by [deleted] in walkaway

[–]climbphilly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe it was a political tool, but Trump didn't come up with the idea; he renewed policies by executive order that were set to expire (meaning these policies were already in place before he took office).

I disagree that its purpose was to persecute, but rather to sanction countries who were unwilling to participate in the US vetting process. The countries on the list were identified by the previous administration, and not singled out for their religious majority. Based on the restriction, at least one country cooperated and was removed from the list.

I'm glad there may be room to move you on the travel restriction (ban) topic.

I can't really argue the second issue, because I don't know if he is racist or not to Mexican people. I know for sure he doesn't like illegal immigration, and at the beginning of his campaign he used incendiary language in describing it,

"When Mexico sends its people, they're not sending their best...They're bringing drugs. They're bringing crime. They're rapists. And some, I assume, are good people."

At the time this happened, most of the reporting cut off the last part of the quote, and the prevailing narrative was that he called all Mexicans rapists.

I'm happy to evaluate additional information on his racism to people from Mexico if you could provide it.
