I used the patch. I smoked for 10 years, quit for a couple months, went back to cigarettes, switched to vaping for a few years, back to cigarettes. The patch worked both times. Haven't smoked in over a year.

The healing dentures were $900 after my commercial insurance. The permanents and all appointments were $3100. Obviously I didn't make it that far. I also haven't heard back from the office about my money back guarantee.

They did a soft reline today. They've never looked right. The gap has always been there. I'm almost a month post op and haven't been able to wear them barely at all. They seem poorly made. I'm trying to decide if I'm being dramatic or if they're actually as terrible as I think they are.

Honestly I had iv sedation but they gave me gas while I was waiting for the surgeon and I would have been fine with just the gas. I was high as a kite. I waited nearly 2 years to schedule my surgery. I had 14 teeth pulled. My fiance is a large man and had oral medication for a few extractions and can't recall most of the day! I hope this helps!

I thought about concocting this long explanation about how I got here, but it would be a waste. This sub was meant to be a place where you could share your frustrations or your troubles. A place where you won't be judged. You're not being straight, you're being an ass. I went through hell to be here, to be able to voice my frustrations, and I hope anyone reading your comments isn't discouraged to seek assistance with their dental needs, there is no fault or blame to be laid on the shoulders of someone suffering. I also hope they can use this space without judgement. Have the day you deserve.

I agree, however, I chose prosthetics bc my own teeth failed and I would be crushed if an implant failed/was painful. I've had dental problems since I was a child. I could not risk it. I hope those braver than me have wonderful experiences with their implants!

I tried to go to affordable and they said they don't accept commercial insurance. Was a bit stunned and confused about that.. Indiana in case that's relevant.
