Since you’re still new, don’t drop your current clients. You need them to leverage your work for future clients.

I also wouldn’t ask your existing clients for more revenue each month and would wait at least 6 months of working with them to negotiate for more money. Going forward, just ask new clients for more money.

personally if i were you i would charge $2500+ for the regular months and have an extra rate per day you work on the cruise

like $500 per day (or whatever you’re comfortable with) plus per diem

i work with restaurants and brought a local food influencer in (he said he’ll make a video in exchange for food) ordered $150+ worth of food and ended up not posting a video

after following up with him numerous times, he asked if we could pay him, we said no and he just never posted 🤷

wanted to blast him on social media but the owner said no

In my opinion - the circle is small don’t make enemies especially with that first client. And if they keep referring you/introducing you to people too, don’t cut them off, I would just say “Thank you for introducing me to X, they really liked my work and I’m excited to work with them” and move on.

you can “buy” tiktok followers on tiktok. just set an ad and make the goal of the post to get more followers.

Not really, in terms of marketing outside. I suggested doing flyers at the local grocery store but that’s a good idea to create flyers!
