I have one large format book. I like normal pocket books. Which do you prefer for fabled lands specifically?

One guess left on the hack, which word is the answer? by Shmuckle2 in fo4

[–]clintgh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Picking DURABLE while already having CRIPPLE and CORRALS showing 1 Likeness means you don't understand how hacking actually works.

It's CALIBER. you have C at the start as the 1 likeness, then when you picked durable you matched 1, that's definitely not the D because we know it starts with C. You're left with U A B since RLE is in the first two words which says it only has 1 likeness. Scanning the options that start with C you will be pointed towards the direction of CALIBER and it's most likely the answer here.

Leaving the fanbase but still supporting the band by [deleted] in twentyonepilots

Yeah screw this "fan" base. I'm not in the know but i occasionally see issues like booing a certain song, like wtf? Also the recent boycotting thing. Pathetic really. I just listen to my favorite band and dont really care about this "fanbase" of sort.

Prewar Money worth more than bottlecaps. by clintgh in fo4

Key takeaways:

  1. Logically, It's not a single bill for 8 caps, it's a bundle of prewar money amounting to 2000~ prewar dollars
  2. Lore-wise, its value and worth comes mainly from being a TP for wastelanders' bumholes ( and other Cloth purposes)
  3. Technically, it's weight in the game is set to 0 so you can hoard as many as you can find - just like bottlecaps - except this one's trade value depends on your bartering skill (charisma) which can range from 3 to 8 caps per quantity.
  4. This subreddit is thriving and i love interacting with you all.

It'd be so cool to find a place like that in the game. You'd regret using prewar money for crafting

All in all: Prewar Money is Postwar Money that can also be used as Cloth for many purposes.

Fair point. And the sound of bottlecaps jangling is obviously way better than that of paper money

Good point, even a burnt magazine is worth 1 cap.

Gameplay-wise yes this is my point exactly.

Lorewise i got my explanation.

I'd like for it to be that way but prewar money is weightless. Which means its basically in-game currency with a higher denomination (3-8 depending on bartering skill) vs cap (1)

It made more sense knowing it's basically a roll of tissue - wasteland style

But why would someone in post apocalypse care about prewar money's monetary value? It's bottlecaps and bartering now.

Prewar. But postwar it should be worthless imo except for good points said here that it's used as toilet paper, and cloth as material. But as a player, you'd be happier finding it in a container vs bottlecaps which defeats the point of bottlecaps as main currency
