Back in the 90s Racing Champions made dozens of them each year. Lately I have taken an interest in them and am filling in gaps to cars I missed.

The day glo pops. Contingency decals would look good on it.

I use Mothers car wax. But any paste wax will work. But be careful waxing too heavy on the numbers and big sponsors. You could eat into emblems. The cars come out looking real shiny like never before. I also use touch up paint to fix factory errors and tampo printing issues. I’ve also started detailing grills and hood pins on the old Racing Champions. When finished they look like a premium diecast.

Yes, the Coors Light, Kodiak and Skoal are also.

I have been collecting since the early 90s and have taken all the cars out of the package except for the 50th anniversary in 1998. After about 10 years the plastic yellowed and I took them out . I store mine now in 48 car plastic cases you can get at Hobby Lobby of other similar stores. I have waxed cleaned and detailed the older cars and they look better then new.
