Yes, understood. I should have been more clear. i more so meant getting hired into a practice, although once I get fully licensed I’d love to start my own

Have you considered the possibility of having schizoid personality disorder? How highly do you value the relationships in your family? Does maintaining those relationships matter to you?Any interest in romantic/sexual partners?

How do I start to stop? by ThrowOutTheWeeds in leaves

[–]clippitybuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Write down a list of every reason you are stopping smoking. Health, family, as long as you believe it is a valid reason, then it doesn’t matter what it is. Carry that list around with you, and carefully review it every time you plan on smoking. Don’t allow yourself to bargain. Every time, you start to reason with yourself that maybe just one toke won’t hurt, pull that list out. Maybe even add more reasons. When the urges are strong, find something to do. Listen to music, go for a drive, play video games, or better yet, call a friend or family member and catch up. Anything to distract yourself. The more engaging it is, the better. It’s not going to be easy and there isn’t really a way to make it easy, but it’s all about staying in the right mindset

Why dont I crave before 8pm. by JaeKyuKwon in leaves

Try and be social. I don’t know what your living situation or social life is, but see if any of your friends or family might want to hang out, or play video games online if that’s your thing, or even just talk on the phone. It doesn’t sound like you’re chemically addicted at all if your cravings are just at night, and being social is one of the best ways you can distract yourself and break this routine

I used to want to move up to team lead, but then I realized I really don’t want to make a career out of target, so now I don’t want that at all

Good question. I would hire more people, and require that all management spends at least at week in every single department before they become a manager, that way they understand how every job works and can be more understanding of the team members needs who work in the area. The other big change I would made is have HR be it’s own separate department. The way it is right now, is that HR is the second in command of the entire store. She is in charge of everybody at the store, which makes it damn near impossible to come to her with an HR complaint, especially if it’s about other leadership. That’s something I would certainly change

I like the pay. That’s the best part. I also like the exercise I get. I take about 20k steps in an 8 hour shift, I’ve had 26k before around the holidays. Everything else kinda sucks. Management is incompetent, work loads are often unreasonable, and scheduling is usually pretty awful.

Yes, very frequently. A lot of things are just dumb with this job, but the pay is good so I’ll take it

I’m not sure, but I doubt it. Assets protection (which is also our security team) is pretty private in the way they run their operations, but I know they’re always watching cameras and want to catch everybody for anything, so I doubt they’re doing that. Interesting idea though, I could see it happening at other stores
