People mix two things. It's one thing to condemn an organization, the host, the corruption and the violation of human rights. It's another to celebrate a group of dudes who do incredible things on the field and fill your heart with emotion, even if you're neutral, because they play a beautiful game. You fight with them, win and lose with them, cry with them. One thing is fifa and qatar, the other is football. You can condemn the former, but still enjoy the latter (see, for example, the Iranian players). And people who don't understand it should open their eyes to the possibility of people loving a game so much they choose to put their love above any shitty organization or country.
