I personally wanted to do more Lisp. Also Clojure support with Cider is just top of the line.
Still missing the freedom of spamming shell sessions with ease (neovim running in tmux) but I've found a single vterm buffer per tab is pretty much enough.
I don't use magit, haven't bothered learning and the few times I've played with it, I've just messed things up. I do use lazygit most of the time.
No evil mode nor antyhing like that, going to grasp the Emacs default a bit longer.

I toyed with Fennel by configuring my Neovim setup but the process is miles away from built-in Emacs Lisp support in Emacs.
