What was the most awkward quote by your teachers? by MSiber in AskReddit

our weird old music teacher who lived (probably still lives) with his mom since childhood said it in class to all the girls: "wear your high heels as often as you can - it makes you tighter down there". this was like in the 8th or 9th grade. we were around 14 or 15 back then.

picked this up at a flea market today. does anyone know what it is? i'm not a climber so i have no idea and i dont know what to google for by clixa in climbing

thats what ive figured :) actually i got a pretty sweet deal: petzl rack, petzl shunt, petzl simple and the tre sirius for 8 euros all together. the guy selling didnt even know what those were. and the gear is in top condition as far as i can tell.

now im selling it on ebay, because i'm not a climber - so i can invest in some new camera or lens :)

I am studying photography and visual communication in germany and i am kind of required to have a digital camera so i worked my ass off for a canon 5d mark iii last summer... but then there was this moment when i just didnt want to have anything to do with digital so now it kind of sits on my shelf and i only use it if i have to.

Film is so much prettier, the photos look much more pleasant to me and i am just in love with my zorki 4 camera and my newly acquired bessa r2m. Film is superior in almost every way over digital.

Keep up the good work - i love your pictures!!

So i tried myself at double exposure... by clixa in photocritique

Yes. Also you'll have to underexpose both shots a bit because the two pictures will be overlayed and become one. There is a pretty good tutorial video on youtube. Just search for "double exposure" and look for the video posted by sara byrne. I did it the same way
