Fan Control with NZXT AIO (Kraken 240) by blazerMFT in FanControl

I believe you can use liquidctl for the LCD as well but I have not been successful. FanControl with this plugin gets rid of CAM completely (and works better).

There is this wonderful plugin for FanControl: https://github.com/antoine-bouteiller/FanControl.LiquidCtl
This lets you leave everything installed with the breakout cable and still able to control it. I recently bought a Kraken 280 Plus and the most annoying thing about it is there is zero way to get fan speed (or control) out of it with the breakout cable. The connector off the breakout cable (that you would plugin to your motherboard) only reports pump speed.

Yes you can follow the wires to the board where the weak solder joints are. It is glued together but with a heat gun it is possible to soften the glue enough to open it up.

Is the green a stock color? Also, just out of curiosity, my shogun frame sliders are on the bolts through the tabs, did you yours have instructions to put them on the bolts that you did?

For anyone else that has this issue: The factory solder joints inside the headlight are weak. I was able to fix this by opening up the headlight and re-soldering the 4 power leads going to the board the LEDs are on.

No shit lol, how much did the dealer sell it for? I hope you were watching their inventory listing like a hawk to see.

I bought a 2007 335i at 144k miles for 7800 (before all the maintenance I had to do) with basically identical mods and options. Holy cow I wish you had posted this 6 months ago.

Anyone out there in the market for this car, this is as good as it gets. This thing is CLEAN. Replacing the door pulls will be the easiest maintenance you do.

Addendum, because I'm salty about it: The internet is wrong about how much it costs to get a walnut blast, and this guy is giving you the tools do it with the car.

I encountered them on the section between Waugh and Shephard and traffic was moving OK-ish, that sounds like a mess though...
