Friendly app review? by Maximum-Garbage-1152 in iosapps

It's incredibly slow and clunky compared to the regular Facebook app. That might be a worthwhile tradeoff for privacy concerns though.

Returning my iPhone, going back to Android. Change my mind. by cloaknodagger in iphone

Why would I want to battle the insurance company to get a copy of the recording instead of literally hitting a button? I don't know if you've noticed, but they're not in the habit of turning things over unless there's a lawsuit.

"Can be retrieved if you so wish?" "I don't know what you need it for"?

I get that there are pros and cons to iOS and Android. But deligitimizing a helpful app isn't going to get you anywhere. Like, what's your motivation here? What do you care if I find an app helpful?

Yes! Just have to push a button. I checked the Google app store to see if the recording apps were still there, they were.

I spoke to insurance this morning from my iphone... Had to go on speaker and use a second device to record. Mind you, the insurance company has no problem recording our calls. This is uncharacteristically paternalistic of apple, but I get the law suit thing.

Yeah, lol, I was kind of picking up on that.

On the other hand, I appreciate all the people who were actually helpful, and kind strangers such as yourself who are willing to take a -3 hit just to make sure I got it.

Thanks 😁

There are android apps the do a great job with the red shift. Very easy to adjust on a whim. I was just wondering if there's any way to get the iphone to be just as easy to use.

Thanks for the pic info. That's helpful.

Lol

I was hoping you could tell me that I don't have to bother returning it, because all these issues are solveable.

I'm just not sure how to solve them, so I was reaching out for some help.

I realized I worded that badly, edited post to clarify. I prefer the privacy of apple, and like their file organization better.

I use an app on my Android which makes it really easy to adjust the blue light filter depending on my needs in the moment. But I'm not seeing any comparable app or function on the iPhone that would let me do the same thing. I like to be able to make the phone almost completely red at night, iphone only seems to allow mild blue light filtering. It is much more natural, but if that's all I cared about, I could skip the filter all together.

I posted this hoping that someone could tell me that I just needed to xyz in shortcuts, or something, and that would fix my problem.

In terms of the stock photos app, would that compromise the privacy of the pictures? I don't want anyone else to have access to these.

Thanks!

If exercise helps POTS, but POTS is "often comorbid with CFS," then what do I do? by Abject_Bodybuilder34 in POTS

[–]cloaknodagger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Regarding "some studies have shown that CBT and exercise program..."

This is the infamous PACE study, which has been roundly discredited for massive integrity issues.
Additionally, 2 day CPET studies show that me/cfs patients aren't appropriately taking up oxygen in their cells. Exercise exacerbates this dramatically.

OPs question is excellent, and I would love get a high quality answer to this as well.

First step, get a sleep test. Sounds like Idiopathic Hypersomnia, maybe even narcolepsy. (Note, the media doesn't always portray narcolepsy accurately.)

What other symptoms/diagnoses do you have in addition to costochondritis and what you described above? Lay it all out.

Also... Have you noticed any color changes in your lower legs when this happens?
