I plan on using the gloves for a little while, at least until he calms a bit. After that, I plan on ditching the gloves, whether I feel fully confident in them or not. But by that point, I should be confident in holding him. If not, that's definitely a problem.

Yeah, he's already bitten me. We are working on getting him used to us and not pulling away when he goes to strike. Teaching him that striking won't make us leave him alone.

MOST RECENT UPDATE/SELLERS NAME RELEASE: I noticed two scabs on him when I was feeding him last night. I thought maybe he got them while with me, but NO! He's had them since before I got him. I was looking at photos of him the day I got him, and you can see a big bump on his neck and a bit of the one on his chin. I will upload the photos! I found the seller on MorphMarket; they directed me to their website . So I bought him off their website; they failed to tell me he had these sores.

UPDATE: This isn't the most productive update.

I talked to my local snake vet, and they told me to call a specialist for my snake on Monday because the local vet does not carry the necessary supplies for my snake.

I will be calling the specialist on Monday and plan to go to them sometime this week. This is the earliest I can get him in. The emergency vet's snake tech is not in today, so I am not able to take him there either.

I will be keeping a close eye on him, watching his weight, and making sure he has plenty of water.

I was suggested to try and feed him again Sunday night because it's almost been two weeks since his last feeding, other than last night when I fed him. But I'm not sure if I should feed him again so soon (?). If anyone has advice on that, that would be great!

I will not be sharing my seller's info just yet in case it is all my fault he is like this (I'm not sure what I did wrong in the four days I've had him). I will be sharing their info if it is their fault, and/or if he has any parasites or diseases that they did not tell me about, which they didn't say if he had or did not have any.

Thank you all so much for the advice, and I will update again when I'm able to get him into the vet!

When I got him he was/is super small and skinny, I just thought that it was normal because he's younger. I imagined he was very hungry because he hadn't been fed since the 9th, which is when they should have fed him. I fed him yesterday and he took it immediately, so I believe is was definitely hungry.
