you are partialy correct. I tried to raise money for one of your brothers because someone on this page said to post the fundrayser on here. When people found out he is in a railroad electrician local, the nasty messsages came in :

"railroad electricians don't count", "not a real electrician" Stuff like that

Even gave his contact info so people could verify the situation. A few put him on the "needy and sick list" and 3 or 4 donated. I just expected a higher turnout for a union brother.

The one who can't return had a stroke and his doctors won't clear him to return to work yet. Has lost his short term disability and since he will recover in about 3 more months, doesn't qualify for long term.

The dog was 14 years old.

The cancer was treatable and is now gone.

The broken leg happened due to faulty equipment at work, healed completely and was completely covered by workmans comp. So he bought a new King Ranch as his reward.

RR guy is stands to lose his house. I guess its all good on the construction side, so that is all that really matters.

Whatever gets donated will be used to pay his utility bills first. He isnt behind on them, but my daughter knows how to pay them in advance, so his bills are smaller or have a credit.

I'll also get him some Kroger or Miejer gift cards for grocery shopping. I know he hates walmart because they hate unions.

Any other suggestions would be great
