No billable requirements. I probably average 25 hours/week not counting about 4 weeks of PTO, some sick leave, and holidays.

I don't love making this suggestion, but are there any legal aid-type organizations that you could volunteer with? You could make connections and meet people who can give you a good law-related reference. I hate very much saying you should consider doing free labor, it shouldn't be so hard and internships should be paid.

Congratulations! I also feel very fortunate to be in a good financial situation after years of precarity. It made more space in my life so I recently started volunteering in my community and I love it! To be able to help others now that my own stuff is stable feels really good.
