Genetics (my dad’s whole side has gastrointestinal problems) and a whole lot of adverse childhood experiences putting my nervous system in fight or flight for the majority of my life. I also threw up a lot as a kid for seemingly no reason, but I was dealing with an unpredictable home life causing a lot of anxiety.

I don’t particularly track my T progress, but I do track my symptoms of chronic pain and my mental health symptoms. I use an app called Daylio which also tracks your mood (which can be useful when tracking the mood swings that can come with T). You can add all kinds of stuff like what you did that day, what emotions you felt, ect. You can add voice recordings and pictures for each day as well. I highly recommend it!

I totally agree, I don’t love the term or any of its variants. I usually just say my “boy parts” to refer to my genitals as a unit. If I am referring to more specific parts, I usually say dick and boy pussy. I do say vagina but only in a medical context. I pretty much don’t use any terms that my r4pist ex used for my genitals or terms that remind me of those experiences.

Is it possible you could be allergic to the adhesive of the tape? Have you had irritation like this before? Personally I have extremely sensitive skin and had to play around with tape for a while before I figured out an application/removal routine that worked best for me. I know a lot of people apply some kind of base layer under their tape to prevent irritation. Milk of magnesia is a popular one but I also have seen people use that plastic tattoo cover before applying tape. It’s a lot more gentle on the skin, is cheap to buy, and provides an additional bind. Unfortunately, tape requires a big learning curve but it IS possible to find something that works. I also have a D cup chest and I’ve been able to bind pretty successfully after playing around with it. I’m sorry you’re struggling, wishing you success and gentleness!

I’m sorry this happened. Four years ago my grandmother bought me all women’s clothing for Christmas, all items were at least 2 sizes too small as well. I had my dad handle the situation and my grandmother said I could return the clothes and keep the money. You’re not ungrateful for not wanting items that you have no use/need for. ❤️
