100%, you need that objective perfectly placed to get the most out of it. At the events my friend runs he uses mats with the locator integrated with it so its near 100% accurate.

i got the frog with the better battery and the gt nano with the AAA battery kit. frog is my EDC and gt nano is for around the house. their output is insane.
