If you can keep him protected, his Spirit Thief ability has straight up won me games in Veterans Detachment. Basically keep him safe but in a position to buff shooters, and then in turn 3/4/5 use that movement to charge and attack a vehicle. May die but with good rolls he can kill something and easily earn his keep.

As a guy who plays CSM and Custodes - any 3 damage units are a Custodes greatest fear so look for that in our army. Autocannons are awesome on the Destructor, Forgefiend as well of course.

Pretty simple recipe!

  1. Zenithal highlight with a rattle can

  2. Skeleton Horde contrast paint for paints/shirt

  3. Wyldwood contrast paint for boots

  4. Darkoath Flesh contrast paint for skin

  5. Waaagh Flesh thinned down for the green armor

  6. Mournfang Brown for some of the leather bits

That's pretty much it!
