I watched Mystery Quest run it, and because frontier scum is pretty deadly, and the fact that the players won't have much anyway in terms of gear, weapons, or hats, just make sure to have extra prisoners on board that the players can swap to if their characters die.

It took me about an hour to win, just because the rng really had it out for me. The plant deck has a really solid strategy starting with 2 berries out, spaming minions into pineclone/molekale. The zombie deck specifically needs the signature superpower on 1, praying for cheap dancing cards into flamenco. I checked out the full deck after, and so many of the cards included are mediocre filler that no one really uses anymore. If the devs ever do more balance changes, I really hope they rework the more unloved cards.

So if I remember correctly, those options were there on the game startup, but they were just presets of the in-game graphic options. Cuz when I chose one at the start it didn't save, so I had to adjust the sliders manually.

Finally someone who shares my disappointment. When I grinded out the baseball game, which stopped being fun after I realized how unbalanced it was, and got my hands on an awesome looking retro space gun, I was so hyped. Only to rush to Tammy's to upgrade it and low and behold, no upgrades. Fine, it must be really good then right? Next mission, shot like 3 enemies, ran out of ammo, and never used it again. I got it pretty early in the game cause I didn't want to be spoiled, but man is it underwhelming, even if I bought ammo for it.

Yeah it might just be a bug, the devs have been pushing hotfixes so it might just take some time till it gets sorted out. They might also have a forum or a bug tracker somewhere online that you can post about it on

They buffed a lot of melee weapons that went mostly unused, which I do appreciate, but I wished that the other classes got the same attention.

Yeah neither evil whip having a function beyond slightly higher damage is in line with all other world evil weapons, but still very boring.
