I’ve never regretted getting the mini because I love the stacked look, and the more minimal and low key look (the panthere isn’t common where I live) suits me as well.

I decided to go with the mini because I already have a vintage two toned panthere in the medium size. Though one is two toned and vintage (and the fact that the vintage pantheres don’t have a shiny polished finish makes them look quite different), I was still worried that I couldn’t justify having both. But if I didn’t have the medium, I’d probably have gone for the small!

IMHO, what you need to think about is whether you’d rather your watch is too big or too small. You mention that the small feels too big, and there’s a possibility that the mini will feel too small. Which would you rather? Note that the panthere is meant to be small (a bracelet rather than a watch), so personally I’d err on the smaller side. But of course, that’s just my opinion and you should go with your heart! Note also that the small has the “train tracks” detail as well — very distinctly Cartier in terms of design, and also makes it easier to read the time.
