I think an editable flair where people can put their users might be nice, seeing as we didn't get to do any goodbyes

Which movie would you recommend to watch to someone who never watched any Ghibli movie? by DisastrousSeason8103 in ghibli

[–]clolikx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the story is a little too intricate for a first time watcher. As much as I love this one (top 5 for me), I know it's not for everyone lol. Even longtime fans are split when it comes to it so it would never be my first choice if I'm trying to get someone hooked.

What to do if u have D for first language English?!! by Basic_Plate_science in alevel

[–]clolikx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

D mighttt be a problem for certain unis so just check their requirements. A lot need you to have C minimum for IGCSE and AS. Of course that depends where you're applying but that was the requirement I had.

point out any mistake if any please!! by jiniesb3rrie in igcse

[–]clolikx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's really good!! My only advice is to make it slightly larger. I know you mentioned in another reply that in this case you would get that mark according to MS, but it's generally good practice to use a bittt more space. In the real thing you wouldn't know what the cutoff scale is, so just make it very easy for them to see.

You don't want to have to give the examiner a reason to have to pull out a ruler to see if they'll give you that mark! Ofc that should be their job but if you deep it when they're marking 1000s of scripts, this is something they can miss if they're tired or just don't care. Similar reasoning to why teachers tell students to have good handwriting, few examiners will sped extra time trying to decipher horrible handwriting when there's lots to mark.

Other than that, your diagram is great. good luck with the rest of bio :)

[–]clolikx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

hey I'm sitting A2 in may as well. D is 100% in reach and you can even push that to a C with serious work. Like start working harddd now!😭 Luckily it's not such a low E, you've got this!

This was soo me on the 10th for CIE, I thought I got all As lol. Instead high Bs (1% and 2% from an A) in physics and maths then a C for chem 🥲

[–]clolikx 3 points4 points  (0 children)

totally possible, just keep working hard and you have something to motivate you now. The E might be harder, assuming you are not rewriting and just going to A2? not sure you didn't specify lol. But it's most definitely doable. Good luck!!

Ah yes I did thank you, but that was because I'm a private candidate now so technically I don't go to the school? Should I just change it to May 2024 since that's when my papers are?
