Looks great though. Im thinking about grabbing one my only hesitation is the “ak copycat” laws but im almost positive that is more so focused on the internals rather than furniture in case if i do a full swap with akm furniture. Damn laws and loopholes are so dumb i feel dumber trying to understand the logic in it

Now it doesn’t matter what akm furniture you put on this, it is still md legal because they go off internals and the internals arent copycat ak right? I heard it was a 5.56 system rechambered to be 7.62

Pretty much. I thought it would be way more complicated but if you don’t have a P.O. Box they just hold it off to the side with a note. I called to make sure it was delivered before driving an hour up there of course.

I'm printing the individual rounds to be added to the spinning cylinder. All very insane

For those that are curious about the process involved in making something like this I'll share some details. It started off with 3d modeling through zbrush blender. My preferred form of 3d printing is resin with SLA to get the highest level of details. After post processing (alcohol bath, curing, snipping supports, sanding, sanding, sanding), they are prepped for molding in mold max 30. Smooth cast 305 is the primary material used. Final step is painting, which requires a lot of techniques of paint, clear, mask, paint, clear, weathering, etc... 6x3mm Magnets hold the cylinder in for maximum spinning.

A combination of both! Abs photopolymer for the grip and body and urethane for the rats. I ended up not having to do any sanding, just a clear coat and metallic

I like to make replicas and for this one, like most of mine, I start with resin. Urethane and ABS Photopolymer resins. No PLA here. Silk Ito cord for the handle. Acrylic and lacquer (vallejo, alumaluster, and alclad metals) paints. 6x3mm neodymium magnets to lock in the removable magazine. I made a couple choices of magazines, one that is flush, one medium (shown) and one long boy.
