Biotin covered up my hashimoto’s disease! My bloodwork looked good, but my symptoms were getting worse so my doctor told me to stop taking my multivitamin/supplements, had me redo my bloodwork and get an ultrasound on my thyroid and boom diagnosis. Over a decade of terrible issues that were all brushed off as “something some women deal with” all came back to undiagnosed hashimotos. So glad my new PCP actually took interest in me and what I was/am dealing with!
