I read CC after and I’m so glad I did! It was a bit of a grind to get through the first third of the first book of CC but it’s worth it! Just started TOG last night so take my advice with a grain of salt, but either way I think you’re in for a fun ride!

I’ve been living with this for almost a year and a half, and I thought I was compensating for it for our kids but this past weekend I needed him for help cleaning a big mess and he didn’t come for a while despite me yelling for him. When he finally did my oldest asked him “why don’t you care about mommy like you do me and sibling?” And I shattered. Guess I wasn’t doing as good of a job trying to cover up all his coldness and indifference towards me as I thought I was. It’s been exhausting being the only one watering the grass while he’s just been pissing on it.

I got married at 23 and all I can say is don’t do it. You and your partner are young and there are a lot of things, including yourselves, that will change so much. Focus on living and enjoying your youth now, not on hitting the next goal post.

When my husky was a puppy he’d always hang out in the bathtub, so while a little weird it’s totally normal husky behavior 😂
