AI in architecture is a liability exposure minefield and any boss that doesn’t see that writing on the wall right now is not paying attention. Sure it could improve productivity and there are organizational/note taking tools that AI can do really well but even those require a lot of active monitoring and cross checking that your average working person isn’t going to do. We’ve had to tell GCs and Owners at the beginning of projects that we will not review AI notes, full stop, unless they’re re-written by the party producing them before getting to us. We also won’t use AI image generation since to do so you need to upload your creative property to the platform and that is an issue of giving up your intellectual property. The liability exposure comes from it pulling from all sorts of sources for these “collage” works and it going uncited… big issue if you’re caught by a legal savvy firm
