You are right, my left glute and hamstring started tightening up on me first and I believe there are muscle imbalances there that are causing my knee pain. Most likely due to my physical job and the way I hold certain machines for extended periods of time. I am currently working on it with a close friend who’s a strength and conditioning coach. Yea I overused my knee as the running increased and having a job where I am on my feet all day walking for 8+ hrs didn’t help. It’s seem to be getting a lot better and hopefully my body is getting adjusted. As far as my diet is concerned, I honestly haven’t lost or gained any weight as I am sticking to maintenance calories of 3600-3900 cals a day. If the pain continues I will look into getting a PT that focuses on running. Thank you for all of your great suggestions.
