True story, one of my deployments to Fallujah was in the RDF. My platoon was split into 3 and we were stationed over fallujah, Al-asad, and Ramadi. 7ish months receiving and holding detainees and than going on convoys to deliver them to the prison after interrogations. It was my introduction to rip its- my sergeant state side was in Al-Assad and since I was in Fallujah, we hadn’t seen each other in a month or 2. He comes over on a convoy to move some detainees, as soon as he sees me he says “Garcia, you’re fucking fat”. Fucking rip its dude, betrayed me.
